Brush My Hair

About this book

Brush My Hair follows a young girl through a day at her grandmother's house — movies and popcorn, a bubble bath, and a slow, careful hair-brushing before bed — and into the next morning, when she is still thinking about it. The story text is brief, told in short rhyming lines across full-color illustrated spreads, and the book adds a two-page glossary explaining words like "vanity" and "bristle" for young readers. Dedicated by the author to her own grandmother.
