A publishing team
built around the author.
Nova Publishers (thenovap.com) is a book publishing services company for independent authors. You get one fixed quote before any work starts, and your book is published through retailer accounts in your name. We're based in Virginia, USA, and have been publishing books since 2024.
Founded by Abdul Moeed with a team of publishing agents.
Nova Publishers (thenovap.com) edits, designs, formats and distributes books for independent authors. Authors come to us with a finished manuscript, a draft that needs work, or a book that's already on Amazon and ready for more readers.
Nova was founded by Abdul Moeed with a team of publishing agents and started work in 2024. Our team includes editors who've worked at Penguin, HarperCollins and Hachette. The editors work in separate fiction, nonfiction and genre teams, so a memoir goes to a nonfiction editor and a thriller goes to someone who edits thrillers. Cover designers, interior formatters, audiobook producers and a marketing team cover the rest of the work.
Every book has a project manager. Your project manager sets the schedule, sends you each stage to approve, answers your questions within 1 business day, and keeps the editors, designers and producers working to the dates in your quote.
Nova also has its own development team. It builds the tools that take admin off everyone else, like IRIS, which reads a manuscript and reports on its structure and readiness, and the author portal where you upload files, follow your project and approve each stage.

Abdul Moeed
Founder and CEO, Nova Publishers
I've spent six years in publishing as a publishing agent, and most of my career before that building and running software teams. Nova Publishers is where those two worlds meet. I started it in 2024 because writers deserve a publisher that treats the book as theirs.
Here's how we work. You get one fixed quote before anything starts, and the price stays the same for the whole project. Your book goes live through your own KDP, IngramSpark and Barnes & Noble accounts, so your retailer royalties go straight to you. Editors, designers and project managers do the work, and our own dev team builds tools like IRIS that take the admin off their plate, so they can spend their time on your book.
If you have a manuscript, or even part of one, send it over. We'll read it and come back within 1 business day with a quote and a plan for your book.
LinkedInSend us your manuscript, or whatever part of it exists.
We'll read it, reply within 1 business day and send a fixed quote for what your book needs.
