About this book

A memoir by Bob Battaglia, the youngest of five children born to Sicilian immigrant parents in Buffalo, NY, who grew up above his father's corner grocery store and went on to build a career across dozens of countries and business ventures, from Libbey Glass to his own restaurant, Fettuccine Bros. Written at his sister's urging so family and friends would finally have the fuller story, the book moves from a working-class immigrant childhood through decades of travel and entrepreneurship to his marriage to Colette. For readers curious about one person's account of mid-century immigrant family life and a long, varied business career.
