What a book PR campaign does
Book PR puts your book in front of the people who already reach its readers: reviewers, book bloggers, podcast hosts, local press and the outlets that cover your subject. A full campaign starts about 12 weeks before launch, so there is time to send advance copies and line up reviews and interviews for launch week.
Nova builds each campaign around a pitch list made for your book. A memoir about caring for a parent goes to different podcasts and reviewers than a fantasy series or a leadership book, and every pitch is written for the person receiving it.
What each package includes
Launch Pro at $1,899 includes a launch marketing plan, a press release and 30 days of post-launch support. Signature at $3,799 adds a podcast booking campaign with 3 placements and 3 months of Amazon Ads management, plus newsletter setup and a social media launch kit.
Elite at $5,499 adds comparable-title and market positioning analysis, extended marketing with a $500 ad credit, and trade review submissions to both Kirkus and BookLife, with both review fees included in the Elite price. Every campaign includes monthly PR results reports listing each pitch, reply and piece of coverage.
Advance reader copies and early reviews
Advance reader copies go out 8 to 12 weeks before launch, so reviewers and readers have time to finish the book and post their reviews when it goes on sale. Early reviews help new readers decide to buy, and they give your launch week momentum.
You approve the press release, the pitch list and the press kit before anything is sent. The press kit gathers your author bio, cover, a sample chapter and talking points in one place, ready for any host or journalist who asks.

Ask us a questionNova Publishers' book PR covers a press release, targeted pitches to reviewers, bloggers and podcasts in your genre, advance reader copies, Goodreads launch promotion and trade review submissions. Launch Pro includes a launch plan and press release; Signature and Elite add podcast bookings and extended marketing.
Nova Publishers markets a self-published book through the package that fits it: Launch Pro includes a launch marketing plan, a press release and 30 days of post-launch support, Signature adds a podcast booking campaign and 3 months of Amazon Ads management, and Elite adds extended marketing with a $500 ad credit and Kirkus and BookLife trade review submissions. Full PR campaigns are quoted per project.
Nova Publishers tracks every pitch, follow-up and response and reports them back to you. Each editor and host decides on their own coverage, so we focus the pitching on the people most likely to say yes.
Nova Publishers pitches specific reviewers, podcasts and outlets that already cover your genre or topic. A short list of well-matched pitches does more for a book than a wire release sent to thousands of outlets that never cover books like yours.
Nova Publishers usually starts a campaign about 12 weeks before launch. Trade reviewers such as Kirkus and BookLife need the longest lead time, podcasts and bloggers 6 to 10 weeks, and email and social activity runs in launch week.
Nova Publishers pitches genre podcasts, niche YouTube channels, book bloggers, BookTok creators, local press in your area, trade outlets for your subject and paid trade reviews. For a first book, the strongest results usually come from outlets that already cover your subject.
Often, for nonfiction, business books and books aimed at libraries: Nova Publishers' Elite package includes trade review submissions to both Kirkus and BookLife, which gives you a quotable review from an independent editor, and both the Kirkus and BookLife review fees are included in the Elite price. For genre fiction, reader reviews on Amazon and Goodreads usually matter more.
An ARC (advance reader copy) is an early copy Nova Publishers sends to reviewers and readers 8 to 12 weeks before launch, so reviews are ready on launch day. We use reader platforms such as NetGalley and BookFunnel as well as direct outreach.
A standard Nova Publishers campaign runs 12 to 14 weeks: about 8 weeks of build-up, launch week, and 3 to 4 weeks of follow-up. Longer campaigns cover podcasts that book months ahead and seasonal review cycles.
